The Liquor Store Diaries is a series of recollections born from the mind of Nathaniel Carrol and his “fictional” experiences working in a small-town liquor store. In the same vein as Chuck Palahniuk, Carrol delivers a sardonic and dry account of everything from evil co-workers to disgruntled customers. This series won Editor’s Choice from the Henderson Community College Literary Magazine in 2011.
